Welcome to CHNM-Law.com

This year I will celebrate my 50th year as an attorney. When I started in the practice of workers' compensation law, an injured worker received only $45.00 a week. The spouse and children of a worker killed on the job received no more than $15,000.00. In sharp contrast today, if you are unable to work as a result of an injury, you may be able to receive as much as $1178.48 a week and if you died as a result of an accident, your spouse and children could receive over $500,000.00 in workers' compensation benefits.
You should know that our firm was the leader in drafting and promoting the changes in the workers' compensation laws that we now have. I am proud of the fact that our firm has always stood in the forefront of the effort to protect the rights of the injured workers. We have fought many battles over the years with the business and insurance interests that have always attempted to deny or reduce benefits to injured workers.
There are many firms that can represent your interests in a workers' compensation case but keep in mind that we represent only injured workers. I say this because there are firms that claim to represent workers but who also represent employers and insurance carriers. Make sure that the firm that represents you represents only injured workers.
My partners Chuck, Pat, and Dave are considered by their peers to be the best lawyers in the business. I am proud and fortunate to be associated with them.
Our associate, John Powers, is an energetic, hard-working attorney who has already made a name for himself.
